On this page veridoly explains which information reaches us when you open veridoly.com or write to us, what we do with it, how long it stays with us and whom you can ask about it.
Data controller
veridoly, located at 14 Icen Way Business Yard, Dorchester DT1 1EW, United Kingdom, is responsible for the processing of personal data described here, on every page of veridoly.com and in the correspondence that follows from it. Questions about this notice can be sent to [email protected] or put to us on 01305 248 617.
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly process their data. Parents or guardians who notice that a child has contacted us can ask us at [email protected] to remove the message from our records.
Cookies
This website uses only technically necessary storage. We do not set advertising cookies, and no analytics service records how you move through our pages or links your visit to other websites.
You can see which entries this website has stored, delete them and refuse new ones at any time in the settings of your browser. Blocking storage that the pages need may mean that parts of the site no longer work.
Sharing of data
Personal data is never traded. Access is limited to the technical service providers that run our hosting and mail systems, who process data on our behalf under a written contract, and to public bodies where disclosure is required.
If a provider operates servers or support staff abroad, data may leave the country in which we are established. We work only with providers who commit to the level of protection that the applicable law requires for such transfers.
Data processed on this website
Opening this website leaves a few technical traces with our hosting provider: the address of your device, the moment of the visit, the page opened and basic details about the browser. We use them only to run the site safely and to find the cause of technical errors.
If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we store your name, your email address, any telephone number you choose to give and the content of your message, in order to deal with your request.
Why we process data
We use data to keep this website online and safe, to reply to the messages we receive, to prepare and carry out agreements with clients and to keep the records our business requires.
Depending on the case, the basis is your consent, the performance of a contract or steps taken before entering into one, a legal obligation, or our legitimate interest in a secure website. Without the details we ask for, we may be unable to reply.
Storage periods
Information is kept no longer than its purpose calls for. Once that purpose has been met and no duty to keep it remains, we erase it or remove everything that would link it to you.
Technical log entries disappear automatically after a short time. Correspondence is kept while it may still be needed, and records that tax or commercial rules require us to keep are held for the period those rules set.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time which data we store about you, request its correction or deletion, have the processing restricted, object to it or receive a copy in a common electronic format. Consent that you have given may be withdrawn at any time; the withdrawal applies from then on.
To use these rights, send a request to [email protected] or to our postal address. We may ask for details that allow us to identify you, so that data does not reach the wrong person, and we answer within the period the law provides.
Besides contacting us, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.
